Strategic Planning Workbook
Reynolds Consulting, LLC has developed a workbook that walks an organization through the development of a strategic plan. By the time the workbook is finished, the strategic plan is complete! It incorporates the tools and examples that Margaret uses with her clients in on-site engagements, but can be completed independently by the client on their own time table.
This workbook includes detailed sections on the three phases of strategic planning including:
- Preparation, in which the workbook walks through the key questions one needs to understand about their market and business, suggesting resources where information can be obtained as well as providing analytical excel spreadsheets;
- Development, which focuses on the creation of the key strategy that will guide the company to achieve it’s goals and the initiatives necessary to help the company obtain that future state;
- Implementation, to give the leadership tools and practices necessary to cascade the plan through the critical processes of resource planning, measurement and communication.
This workbook is intended to be used by the client without incurring consulting fees of Reynolds Consulting, LLC, making it a terrific value with an investment far less than that of a typical consulting engagement. It works well for those with limited strategic planning experience, small businesses without budgets for consulting projects, and those that want to challenge their current plan with a different approach. It is appropriate for both product and service oriented businesses.
